My journey in art commenced with a pivotal moment during my admission test to Fine Art School in 1985. Expressing my deep concern for the Earth's response to overpopulation, pollution, and environmental challenges, I secured my place with a conviction to explore these themes further. However, as my artistic evolution unfolded away from these initial interests, I found myself questioning the relevance of my work. Amidst our growing environmental crises, I grappled with the pressing need for my art to make a meaningful impact on the world.
In 2006, a profound shift occurred as I embarked on my series, "Ode to our Planet." Each piece became a canvas for addressing environmental issues and interpersonal dynamics, often blurring the lines between nature and humanity to provoke diverse interpretations. Employing symbolism and visual poetry, I aim to evoke human emotions and catalyze conversations across cultural and social divides.
My art is a call to action, seeking to raise awareness and inspire positive change in our destructive habits. It is my contribution to the global movement advocating for sustainable development, the protection of our planet and fostering peaceful unity among people.
